You mention building a database for transmitters. What does this look like?
When we come to your site, we can locate the transmitters you have on site. From there, I begin documenting all of transmitters to a calibration software. The information that gets logged for a transmitter would include the following: Device name, any secondary names, loop numbers, scaling, units, frequency of calibrations needed, calibration procedures, device location, and associated SCADA assets such as screens.
